Hilary holds a Ph.D. from Yale University and is a Fellow of Trinity College at the University of Toronto. Her current teaching, research and writing focus on cultural approaches to Nature. Her novel,Perdita, features a character who “loves trees.”
Stephen Scharper is Associate Professor at the School of the Environment and the Department for the Study of Religion at the University of Toronto.
Stephen holds a Ph.D. from McGill University and is also cross-appointed in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Toronto Mississauga campus. He is a Senior Fellow of Massey College, a Fellow of Trinity College and a monthly columnist for The Toronto Star.
